what is super greenhouse gas examples?
Dear Student,
Hydrofluorocarbons, which replaced ozone-depleting CFCs, proved disastrous for climate change. Countries have now agreed to ban HFCs - but that may not bring as big a climate benefit as was hoped.
[HFCs are compounds consisting of hydrogen, fluorine, and carbon atoms, produced synthetically and used primarily for cooling.]
Thank You.
Hello,
Any greenhouse gas with a greenhouse effect that is stronger by several orders of magnitude than that of carbon dioxide is called a super greenhouse gas.
Some of the examples of super greenhouse gases are:
CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon), HFC (Hydrofluorocarbon), SF6 (sulphur hexafluoride), etc. These super greenhouse gases are very potent and are much stronger than CO2 (Carbondioxide).
Hope this helps!!!
