Hii Krushna,

First of all let me tell you that GRE i.e Graduate Record Examination is common for all Graduates.

The exam focuses on testing the ability of logical and analytical reasoning .

The exam has nothing to do with your branch or engineering .

The syllabus is distributed in three different segments:

Analytical writing,

Verbal reasoning, and

Quantitative reasoning

You can refer good books of reasoning and writing from your nearby stores as such subjects has no confined syllabus. It only depends on your practice and understanding.

Hope this helps.

Goodluck
