What is syllabus for IIT JAM physics exam
dear aspirant,
The iit syllabus is based upon the higher secondary syllabus .
Physics (PH): Mathematical Methods, Mechanics and General Properties of Matter, Oscillations, Waves and Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, kinetic theory, Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, solid State Physics, Devices and Electronics, Simple Oscillators.
best of luck.
IIT JAM is one of the way to get into IITs for the higher education. It's syllabus is more or less everything you have studying till your graduation level. As it offers admission in higher course thus it aims to cover every topic studying in 10+2+3 system in India under Physics. I am gonna list down the physics topics as per the 2019 syllabus:
- Physical World and Measurement,
- Kinematics,
- Laws of Motion,
- Work, Energy and Power,
- Electrostatics,
- Current electricity,
- Elementary Statics and Dynamics,
- Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism,
- Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current,
- Optics,
- Dual Nature of Matter and Radiations,
- Electromagnetic waves,
- Atomic Nucleus,
- Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body,
- Solids and Semiconductor Devices, Principles of Communication,
- Gravitation,
- Heat and Thermodynamics,
- Oscillations,
- Waves,
- Mechanics of Solids and Fluids.
It's syllabus hardly changes and thus you can consider this for next year also. I am also giving the article for syllabus of complete IIT JAM
