Hey ayesha

The application process in

BHU for full time MBA IS:

  • A graduate degree under 10+2+3 Pattern, OR a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education or Law, OR a Post-graduate degree in any discipline.
  • Candidates should obtain a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate from any University/Institution recognised by AIU/AICTE (For SC/ST candidates, it is 45 percent aggregate score).
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply provided they furnish a certificate from the Head of the Institution where he/she is pursuing the current course of study, to the effect, that he/she has appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying examination to be concluded on or before June 30 of the year of admission.

Admissions to MBA and MBA (IB) programmes are made on the basis of combined merit of Written Test (CAT conducted by IIM)-50% weightage; Academic records-20% weightage, Group discussion and Interview (conducted by FMS, BHU)- 30% weightage.

Candidates are required to appear in CAT of the corresponding year and register at FMS, BHU through separate admission application form available at FMS, BHU normally during August-November every year or downloadable from website www.bhu.ac.in or www.fmsbhu.ac.in (pl. refer to the admission notification noramlly released in the last week of August every year for detailed admission schedule).

Reservations: There will be reservations as per GoI Rules (27% OBC; 15 % SC; 7.5 % ST; 5% PC - Horizontal reservation)

Hope this helps.

All the Best.

Hey,

The admission in FMS BHU is based on scores obtained in CAT exams followed by Group discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the university. The cutoff is decided on the basis of the difficulty level of CAT,Number of seats,Number of Applicants for admission.
