For UG level admission candidates have to appear for the WBJEE exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE). Candidates who attain the qualifying standard of WBJEE will be offered admission by the Central Selection Committee in order of merit subject to medical fitness.

PG Level admission candidates should have passed B.Sc. B.Tech / B.Tech / B.Text in Textile Technology/ Textile engineering or equivalent shall be eligible. However, the candidate has to appear for the GATE exam. Candidates who qualify the GATE exam will be offered admission on merit / selection basis.
