IIT Hyderabad offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree along with five-year integrated B.Tech.+M.Tech programs. The B.Tech program is offered under various specializations of Engineering, all the specializations hold a duration period of four years.

Admission to the B.Tech program is through IIT-JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) which is a common admission test for candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program. Candidates who have secured 75% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PD) marks in aggregate in their respective board examination are eligible for the test. Admission to the Dual degree program B.Tech +M.Tech is done through JEE Advanced .

for any B-tech/ B-tech+mtech integrated course basic eligiblity is 75 % marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentiles in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
