Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is a state university of Delhi. It offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in the field of science, arts, commerce, technology, and medicine. ADMISSION PROCESS
Admission is either based on entrance exam conducted by university or national level examination CAT or on the basis of merit (for weekend courses).
In a circular dated on February 26, the university issued a notice saying CAT score will be used for admission in the MBA programme. Only that much information is provided right now.
Since the brochure for the year 2019-20 is yet to be issued, it is not possible to tell about all the details. Hence, you need to visit the official website regularly and read the brochure.
Generally, a particular CET code is given to the programme e.g 155 to MBA, according to that you can look up the details in the brochure like eligibility, admission process (whether a CET will be conducted or not), age limit etc.
The registration fee is Rs.1000/-
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR 2018-19
1)MBA
Any recognized 3 years or more Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with the minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered, Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works, Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
2) Master of Business Administration (Information Technology)
B.E./B. Tech with a minimum of 60% marks.
OR
M.Sc. (CS), M. Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (Electronics) with a minimum of 60% marks.
OR
MCA with a minimum of 60% marks.
3) MBA (Disaster Management) Programme on Weekend Basis
I. Graduate or equivalent in any subject with a minimum percentage of 50% marks in aggregate.
II. At least one- year post-qualification executive/ professional experience.
4) Master of Business Administration (with sectorial specialization) – weekend classes
Eligibility Conditions:
i. Graduation or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
ii. At least one-year post-qualification executive/supervisory/teaching experience. The cut-off date for counting experience shall be 30th June, of the admission year.
iii. A No-objection certificate is required to be submitted at the time of admission from the current employer. Admission Criteria: Admission shall be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Graduation) and performance in personal interview.
Merit list shall be prepared based on the following: a) 70% weightage will be given to the percentage secured in the qualifying examination. b) 30% weightage will be given to the performance in personal Interview. Thus, the merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks earned by each candidate, out of 100 comprising of the percentage of marks obtained in eligibility qualification and marks obtained in Personal Interview.

Placements depend on the college’s reputation and your own performances and skill, more emphasis on your performance. Students who get the highest packages are the ones who have other skills acquired apart from what is taught in class.
