MBBS Degree: In accordance with NEET PG 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates must possess an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognized as per the provisions laid under Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
Candidates who studied/passed MBBS from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J&K are not eligible for admissions in seats reserved under All India quota of 50%. However, as per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2018, if any of these candidates were nominated by GoI (Government of India) to complete MBBS degree from a medical college in former Andhra Pradesh and J&K, they will be eligible to apply for admission under 50% all India quota. Although, the candidate will require to submit a duly signed affidavit, declaring that he/she was nominated by GoI to study MBBS in that state, and a printout of the acknowledgement of online NEET PG 2018 application form submission to Deputy Director (Examinations), National Board of Examinations, Medical Enclave, Ansari Nagar, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, New Delhi- 110029.
Internship Requirement: NEET PG 2018 eligibility criteria makes it mandatory for candidates to complete the one-year rotary internship. The completion date of internship must be on or before March 31, 2018.
MCI Certificate: Candidates must possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC). As per NEET PG eligibility criteria 2018, it is necessary to furnish MCI/SMC certificate on the day of examination and at the time of counselling, otherwise, one will be deemed ineligible.
