NEET PG Cut off 2019 – The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the responsible body for releasing the NEET PG 2019 cut off. The authority had released the result of NEET PG 2019 on January 31. However, as per the recent notification, the Medical Council of India in consultation with the Central Government has decided to lower the NEET PG 2019 cutoff by six percentile on May 7. The Union Health Secretary, Amit Biswas has made the confirmation regarding the lowering of NEET PG qualifying percentile. Along with the cutoff percentile, NBE on May 8, 2019, has also released the NEET PG 2019 cutoff scores equivalent to the revised percentile. The cutoff for general category aspirants is 44 percentile and the corresponding marks is 313 which earlier was 340. While the lowered minimum qualifying percentile for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates, it is 34 and 39, respectively. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the mop-up round and stray round of NEET PG counselling 2019 on the basis of revised cutoff percentile and scores. The eligible aspirants can download the revised score card from the NBE website, when released by the authority. All the state counselling authorities has been advised to grant MD/MS admissions onb the basis of revised cutoff percentile.

Earlier, the qualifying percentile for General category aspirants was 50 and its equivalent NEET PG cutoff scores was 340. The authority had hiked the NEET PG cutoff 2019 scores for general category by 19 marks, while for SC/ST/OBC aspirants, minimum scores has increased by 14 marks.
