Hey

49.17 is percentile score you can not calculate exact marks because it is relative score to other students.

Let's take an example

10 students appear for a exam of 20 marks

And their marks are as :

3

4

5

6

10

13

15

17

18

20

Student who score 10 secure 50 percentile

Now considered second case

Marks are as :

3

4

5

6

7

8

10

11

12

13

In this case student who score 10 marks secure

70 percentile.

But in both case he score 10 marks but percentile vary

Percentile depends upon the number of students score less than or equal to you and total number of students .

I hope you get it.

Any other query ; always welcome

Good luck
