Dear

It is very difficult to determine cut off marks for any colleges in a state before exams beacuse it depends on sevral factors. If you look at the trends of the cut off scores over the last 2 years, you'll understand that the cut off scores have only increased with time.

If you are a General Category Student, try to score 520+

It is not so easy to predict your rank beacuse it is changing every year.

Hope this is helpful.

All the best

Thank You.

Please note that the expected qualifying cutoff for general category is around 130 to 150. However, to get a seat in OM, you should try to score around 480 to 540 for a decent seat through state quota and around 580 to 640 in All India quota.

Actual cutoffs may vary.

All the best.

Hey Rishi,

  • The NEET cut-off depends upon whether you are applying for 15% All India Quota or 85% State Quota, it also depends on what category you are opting the seat.

  • For 15% All India Quota, under General Category, the closing rank for Government college was rank 5579 which corresponds to a score of 510-520 approximately (NEET 2017 statistics).

  • Based on the above trends, you must try to focus on getting a score above 540+ to ensure a seat in a good government Medical College.

  • If you are opting for State Quota, the trend changes depending on the states. Highly competitive states, you will require a score above 550 whereas for some states, even 450 would suffice.

  • Nevertheless, I hope this information is useful. All the very best!
