National Institute of Design is a one of the few good colleges to pursue a career in designing. It is an old institute with a strong alumni network whivh helps in placing current students in good firms. However, their syllabus is outdated and has not changed in recent times at all. They have a placement cell which works well for a few disciplines but not all. Almost 80% get recruited during the campus placements with a minimum of 8 Lakhs package.
