Hi Ajay,
The package depends upon your skills and abilities and your complete performance during the interview.
However average salary of a mechanical stream individual is approximately around 5-6 lakhs per annum.

It highly depends on your college if it offers good placements or not. Currently, Cs and IT branches are more in demand. On an average, annual package in the beginning ranges from 3 to 3.5 lakhs.You can go for off campus placements too if you are skilled enough.
