hi,
most of the students goes for phd in abroad or in teaching field after pursuing msc mathematics from iits., only 25% candidates gets placement. package is about 6-12 lpa. however to get placement you need to be good at soft skill , communication system. companies like axis bank, honey well automation, walmart labs etc hires masters students.
