What is the best book for IPU CET entrance exam for BCA 2019?
I can’t tell you how to prepare for the exam, because personally I gave the exam without preparation. But what I can tell you is what to focus on so you can get a good result. I got 12 rank in BCA CET 2014. Here is what worked for me.
Focus on what you know, and know it well.
You can refer to Arihant Publications' Book for GGSIPU CET - BCA just for the heck of it.
Otherwise, the paper is quite simple. Just be thorough with the pattern of the exam. The question paper contains many questions, with negative marking. So the best way to score good marks is to only answer questions you know. Negative marking has a huge impact, so in most cases it’s not worth guessing. Attempt just what you are sure of.
The pattern for CET BCA is
Mathematics (30%)
English Language & Comprehension (15%)
General Knowledge- IT and Science Related (25%)
Computer Awareness (30%)
Maths, English and GK are the common topics which no one can do within a month. You can just go through the above recommended book to brush up things.
All the best!
According to me, some good books are - for quantitative aptitude RS Aggrawal, for English objective English by SP Bakshi and plinth to paramount for Gk and current affairs best source is the newspaper or monthly magazine or Indian yearbook, for computer awareness computer knowledge by Dr. Alok Kumar or you can read through online.
Some books which I mentioned above are available online as in pdf format as a free source.
All the best dear Jatin
