What is the best option after doing 12th

It depends on your steam and your area of interest. Career decisions are most important decisions in your life and it requires huge investment, time and energy.

I would say , choose wisely and choose what you enjoy doing the most. Many opportunities will come your way and there will be lots of good options in your streams but you can explore other fields as well , it's totally upto you.

AND YES, don't select any course or college because your friends have opted the same . Also, don't do anything just to show off. Do what you actually Want to do , use your Brain and make Good choices.

If you have no idea then Talk to Your parents and school Teachers about it, they'll help you out with suitable suggestions for you. And in the end Decide yourself WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, because people will give you suggestions but you have to make your career, so ask yourself, and the decide.

I'll suggest you few courses based on your stream :

HUMANITIES/ ARTS

There are variety of career oriented courses which a student can pursue regardless of its background. Few good options are:

1. MASS COMMUNICATION

Field of Journalism, Ads, Films and media are covered under this field. There are professional degrees and diploma courses which provides good job opportunities.  You need good communication skills and can find jobs related to Anchoring in TV shows, news channels etc.

2. PERFORMING ARTS

This field of career is for those who want to establish a career in Field of Film and entertainment Industry

3. HOTEL MANAGEMENT

This is a professional work in service sector which involves management of catering, Kitchen , and hospitality. Popular specializations are Chef and Manager.

4. LAW

This is the most popular course among students. It covers Civil Litigation, Legal Analysis, and Document Drafting. This requires years of education and practice to become a good lawyer.

5. PSYCHOLOGY

6. Air hostess/ Cabin Crew training courses

7. DESIGNING- Fashion/ Interior/ jewellery/ Textile/ Industrial.

It also includes Digital Marketing, teaching, Travel and Tourism.

COMMERCE

This stream opens up a lot of career Avenues:

1. BBA:Bachelor of Business Administration. You will gain essential knowledge about business principles and strategies as well as fundamentals of administration.

2.B.Com- it provides wide range of managerial skills.

3. Also you can pursue your career with BA( Bachelors) in Mathematics, Economics , statistics.

4. Besides these you can also pursue various certification courses such as ACTUARIAL SCIENCE, COMPANY SECRETARY, CHARTERED Accountant, STOCK BROKING etc

SCIENCE

Science stream is bifurcated into Medical (PCB) and Non Medical (PCM) streams:

PCB:

1. Medicine is the most common choice. You can take up dental surgeries, Surgeries, psychiatry, Veterinary Doctor etc

2. Research oriented fields such as  microbiology, zoology, environmental science, biology etc

3. Allied fields such as occupational therapy, optometry, Audiology etc

4. Other unique fields like , Home science, food and Nutrition, Marine Biology, Anatomy, etc.

5. MBBS

6. BACHELOR OF PHARMACY/ PHYSIOTHERAPY

PCM:

Engineering ( Degree- 4 years, Diploma- 3years)

It includes various engineering courses, some of them are:

Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Chemical/ IT/ IC/ Electronics/ Agricultural/ Aeronautical/ Aerospace/ Infrastructure , and many more
