Well B.Tech and B.Sc. are two very different streams. Now if you are asking me which is better so it actually depends upon actually what you want in your life. If you are inclined towards research, inclined towards pure sciences and if you have a passion for teaching then you should take up a B.Sc degree. Usually just a B.Sc degree from even the best college is not sufficient, you will have to do a M.Sc to land upon a good teaching job. Moreover B.Sc graduates find it very hard to find jobs and are not paid well. This is not a generalization there are always exceptions. On the other hand B.Tech is a very versatile course it opens up an ocean of opportunities. You can still do research after B.Tech you can even change your stream by doing an MBA after B.Tech and B.Tech graduates are paid off very well. So you could do B.Sc only if you are inclines towards it and are passionate about it else you should do B.Tech. It's a safer option.

BTech from a low grade college will not yield much results, specifically in this time when sole reason for enrolling in BTech in a decent and reputed college is not just to earn a degree certificate from a renowned institutes but also the placement opportunities these provide to students.



Even, if you end up being in such a college, either your opportunities will be limited in terms of not getting a decent job, or perhaps you have to consider going for higher studies for better growth opportunities in terms of advancement in career, and knowledge of your course of study with better job profile, pay package, better company.



It depends on your choice, even doing BSc from the best college will yield results only when you pursue higher education, opportunities are lot more there.



You need to think for yourself, where do you see yourself, and your interest matters a lot here, since you'll be putting 3-4 years of your life doing your preferred course.

As per your query.I would suggest you  to join bsc in best college.in comperision of btech in low grade college.after completing btech in low grade college.if you dont get a job .you will  feel fastruated..join bsc and with bsc preprae a goverment job exam.
