NCERT most important. NCERT should be on your fingertips. Other than that, for reference, use OP Tandon and MS Chouhan.

Practice previous year questions MANY TIMES . Become perfect in them. Solve other people’s doubts. These will help you score better. You should focus on limited material and do it more number of times !! Many questions ask only basic concepts. Self study is definitely most important. But coaching really helps you score more and you can also appear for a test series and analyse it properly (Giving 2–3 hours), find your strong points and chapters, work on them.

Hello there!

Greetings!

To prepare Chemistry for neet exam and score good marks like 100 or more, you to  first of all go through ncert to clear your basic concepts and take the help of reference book to understand the topics you find difficult to understand, Ncert is really good for clearing basic concepts, you can use books like op Tandon for chemistry, after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs and keep revising your concepts whenever you feel like you are for getting some concepts , you can make a routine as well and try to give at least 8 hours or more to study , your routine should revolve around study, revise and practice . You should make a list of important definitions, important formulas, reactions in chemistry and you can brush them up weekly. You can make mind maps, flow charts for memory based topics while studying the chapters and these will help you a lot during your revision . You should practise numericals and mcqs , go through past 39 year chapterwise papers of neet aipmt book for Chemistry by arihant and once you are done with the complete neet syllabus go through mock test papers.

Some of the best books for chemistry for neet examination which you can follow are listed below :-

  • NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII
  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon
  • ABC of Chemistry for Classes 11 and 12 by Modern
  • Practise books by VK Jaiswal (Inorganic), MS Chauhan (Organic)

Thankyou
