What is the bond status in pg?
Answer (1)
Dear aspirant...!!
Bond for pg students is applicable for students both entering the college through all india quota or state quota and irrespective of the marks and the rank spotted by the candidate. It is mandatory for the ones who joins a college in the particular college.
Irrespective of how you avail your PG seat (either All India 50 % quota or the state quota), it is now mandatory for all the students at the level of UG as well as PG to do rural service for 2 years.
Failure to comply with the rules will result in penalty of 10 lakhs for a UG student.
Fine will be 20 lakhs for candidates pursuing diploma courses or MDS course.
Fine will be 40 lakhs for candidates pursuing MD/MS courses.
Fine will be 1 crore for candidates pursuing DM/Mch courses.
This rule has come up only recently, after the clearance of NMC bill.
I hope your query is solved!
Best of luck for your future!
Thank-you!
