The fee structure forB.Trch varies according to college and the course.

1. Around 5% of B.Tech colleges in India are economical with a fee structure of less than Rs 1 lakh . The colleges included  are CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore; Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai; University College of Engineering (Osmania Engineering University), Hyderabad
2. The fees of around 15% colleges is between Rs 1-2 lakh. Some of these colleges are Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi; Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai; CIT Coimbatore, Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, Chennai, etc.
3. Approximately 43% of the colleges have course/annual fees ranging from Rs 2-3 lakh. Some of these colleges are IIT Dhanbad; IIT Bhubaneswar, CIT Coimbatore; The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore; Parul University, Vadodara, etc.
4. Approximately 27% B.Tech colleges have a moderately expensive fee structure that ranges between Rs 3-5 lakh. Some of these colleges are IIT Delhi; IIT Kharagpur; D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune; Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar and so on.
5. The fees of around 10% colleges is more than Rs 5 lakh. Some of these colleges are IIT Bombay; IIT Madras; School of Engineering, MIT ADTU, Pune; School of Petroleum Technology, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar and so on.
