Campus recruitment is pretty much common and most of the time easy for Engineering undergraduates to go for placement rather than the off campus recruitment. So BTech from most(not all) of the college does provide you a job through campus recruitment if you work hard for it and is dedicated towards it . But since you have not mentioned the college it is difficult for us to give you an insight on the institution's recruitment status.
