Dear student,

NEET is one of the toughest all India entrance exam where many students from different country appear. So, scoring as not expected may happen, just don't get disheartened. It is true that it will be quite difficult for you to get into an government medical college as the cut off for that is very high.

From previous years cut offs and NEET scores only i can tell you that the minimum score for Government Medical College was about 469 for general category. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up you can go through this link to know about this year's cutoff in Uttarpradesh as cut offs change every year. So, here are some suggestions that the  private colleges you can get are

1. Teerthankar Mahaveer Medical College and Research Center, Moradabad

2. TS Mishra Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow

3. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Subharti Medical College, Meerut

Still you can go through this link for other college suggestions

Just a suggestion, at this rank you can get a low esteemed medical college with poor acdemics but if you consider of pursuing BDS rather there are many prestigious private dental colleges in UP where you can get a seat. https://medicine.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-bds-colleges-in-uttar-pradesh just in case if you need it.

Hey,

Regarding your query, I would like to suggest you to leave the hope for getting chance in any private Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh through 15% AIQ .

However considering UP as your residential state (since you've not mentioned your state in your question), I want to inform you that your marks and percentile are perfectly suitable to take admission in many top private MBBS colleges of Uttar Pradesh with your marks and percentile through 85% State quota . The names of those colleges suitable as per your marks are as follow:

  • F.H. Medical College, Agra (cut-off marks: 184)
  • Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow (cut-off: 184)
  • Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki (cut-off: 176)
  • T.S.Mishra Medical College & Hospital, Lucknow (cut-off: 186)
  • Krishan Mohan Medical College & Hospital, Mathura (cut off marks: 196)
  • Saraswati Medical College Unnao (cut-off marks: 157)

  • G S Medical College, Hapur ( cut-off:178)
  • Integral Institute of Medical Sciences & & Research, Lucknow (cut-off marks: 209)

These cut-off marks are on the basis of previous year's informations, you can also check these in details through the following link:

Though the cut-off marks change every year based on several determining factors, but still I can assume that  in those above mentioned colleges you've definite probability through Home State quota.

You can also use Careers360 NEET college predictor tool in this regard:

Think about it.

Hope this informations will be quite helpful for you.
