Hello aspirant,
Basically the first year of B.tech is common for every branch student. As they have to study mathematics, physics, chemistry, English, Electrical and Electronics cocepts, mechanics and fundamentals of computers. These are the subjects that are included in the syllabus for the first year of engineering. Every college and university have their own educational criteria so there might be a minor difference in the list of the subjects.

Some of the common courses in first year BTech Courses are as follows:
Basic Calculus
Differential Equations
Vector Calculus
Linear Algebra
Thermodynamics
Introduction to Programming
Physics Lab
Classical Physics
Chemistry Lab
Physics of Solids
Basic Engineering Lab
But the courses vary from college to college.

Some of the colleges as include professional communication and skills which means English...
These were the subjects in my 1st year of engineering....
Moreover, basic computer is taught in 1st year like pointer, stack, array, trees, files, and some basic coding programs...
