What is the correct way of learning full portion of organic chemistry for 12 state board
Focus on NCERT.
Go step by step in small chuncks. Focus on forming concepts and undrestanding is very important because organic is lot of concept based.
Make sure yo clear your doubts from your friends or teachers.
Another study hack which could reallly benefit is explaining the concepts of organic chemistry to your friends by clearind their doubts. This would cement this concepts for you and help you learn for much longer by shifting them to long term memory.
Start with learning a part daily because we know that it's not possible to retain the whole chapter even if we read it in one go.
So start the chapter and read a portion and when u read the next part first revise the older one this way till the time u will complete ur whole chapter much of the portion will be done and fixed in ur mind .
Practicing is really important for organic.
I used to just mug up organic each and every time and never practiced that was my biggest mistake .
So whenever u complete a chapter practice the questions related to it .
And last but not the least compile all the reactions at one place that will help u in quick revision .
And one more thing it would be better if u try to understand each and every reaction by looking at the mechanism I can guarantee that u will never forget any reaction and no question will be able to confuse u .
Then go with give reason questions
Now learn the mechanisms of reaction.
After u are thorough with these....U shud be able answer conversion questions.......After u do all these .......Go through the book once......And u will be perfectly ready.....
For effective results don't just read the above mentioned......Write and see twice or thrice
Thank u....Hope my suggestions help u
For organic chemistry making your own booklet of reactions is very helpful where u can specifically categorise the reactions (i.e. eg : reduction reactions, oxidation reactions , hydration , special reactions etc ) ..
2) writing and practicing several times is very helpful too
3) make your own questions with x as a compound undergoing specific reactions
4) solve standard questions
5) just know properties of agents ( eg conc H2SO4 Dehydrating agent etc)
All the best !
