Seema,

If you're using books of indian author, then it'll be available in the range of 600 - 1000 rs. Foreign books cost a bit higher.  Some books like Harrison costs approximately 8k. But it's not necessary to buy books, you can borrow from others and make notes. Also you can access your library to get some. You can also go for second hand books which are quite cheaper than original one.

Regards.

Hello Aspirant,

The cost of the medical books depends on the author, edition of the book, international or Indian author etc.

For 1st year it is approximately 15k for the books.  many books of foreign authors are much costly than those of Indian authors.

Usually the cost of medical books is slightly high. Think wisely and buy books which you understand better. At the end of the day you don't want your bulky costly books to get dusty.

Hope this helps

All the best!
