mop up round is basically the final round for counselling . basically in this round , all the vacant seats  fills which are left after the counsellings .  so the empty seats will be allotted to candidates .

now the procedure for mop up round( i am considering neet here) is ;-

• then  the registration
• locking of choice and filling of choice
• processing of seat allotment
• result of mop up round
• candidate have to  report to alloted college

The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule of NEET Mop-Up Round Counselling.
