Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune will not conduct any entrance test for admissions to MBBS programme. Instead, AFMC MBBS 2017 admissions will be on the basis of candidate’s marks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017. Candidates who will qualify NEET 2017 will be invited to appear in ToELR (Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning), a psychological assessment test cum interview. Thus, in order to participate in the admission process of AFMC MBBS 2017, candidates will have to mandatory appear in NEET 2017 and qualify it. Candidates who will not appear in NEET 2017 are not eligible to fill AFMC MBBS 2017 application forms. Among the total MBBS seats in AFMC MBBS, 105 are reserved for boys and 25 seats are for girl candidates. Further, 10 seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories.GOOD LUCK

To get admission in AFMC you have to qualify and gain a decent rank in NEET (also fill a form from AFMC website ).

And for now there are only 3 main exams like NEET,  AIIMS and JIPMER  conducted but CMC might conduct it's own exam but it's not fully made sure by supreme Court for that keep in constant touch with carrers360 website.

Hii Harshit, inorder to get admission in AFMC u will have to appear for NEETUG entrance exam as the AFMC is taking ranks from this xam...U must also score a pretty high rank and also appear for their interview inorder to get placed in AFMC...And for ur second question, mainly these three are the ongoing xams...sometimes this year CMC may conduct their xam if the supreme court order favours them....hope this helps....

Eligibility Criteria



Here, we are providing the complete eligibility criteria which candidates have to fulfill to be eligible for AFMC MBBS 2018:



Nationality:Candidates must belong to the Indian national. Candidates of Nepal, Bhutan or Persons of India Origin shifted from Pakistan or any other foreign country with the purpose of permanently settled in India can also apply.



Age Criteria:The age of candidate should be 17 yearsas on 31st December 2018. For B.Sc holders, the age should not exceed 24 years.



Marital Status: Onlyunmarriedcandidates can apply.



Qualifying Exam:Candidate have to pass the 10+2 from recognized board/University.



Minimum Marks:60% marks in PCB are the minimum required marks in the qualifying exam. It is necessary to score 50% mark individually in each subject.



Subjects:Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are the compulsory required subjects. It is necessary to have Mathematics in 10th standard.





And now come to your second  question :-there will be only 3 medical entrance exams i.e. . NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER.

For pursuing MBBS at AFMC, you need to appear for NEET-UG entrance examination. Since the cut off for this college is pretty much high, you must manage scoring just that well.

Also, you need to apply separately for AFMC counselling, applications for which should be out by April 2018.

Now once you clear the cut off score, you will be asked to appear for a computer based test, which will be based on English, logic and reasoning. This will be of 80 marks and will have 40 questions with 0.5 marks as negative marking.

An average score will be deduced based on your performance in NEET-UG and CBT, after which a separate merit list is prepared for boys and girls.



As of now NEET-UG, AIIMS-UG and JIPMER-UG happen to be the only national level examinations since most of the colleges have been considering NEET-UG scores for conducting the counseling process.
