TS eamcet is an entrance exam conducted to get admissions in engineering colleges and medical colleges in and around Telangana State.



The criteria for participating in 2nd round of counselling is that

• Student might not satisfied by the branch / college
• Student might not alloted any seat in 1st counselling
• Student might hope for better branch since, some candidates can leave the seat and go for iits/ Nits / Private engineering colleges.

But if you get a college which you don't like in 2nd counselling when compared to the college you are alloted with in 1st counselling, you can't Change to the  1st one. You need to continue with the college you got in 2nd counselling. So be careful while choosing the options (mainly college codes and branch codes)

TS EAMCET 2nd couselling  takes place for people who are not interested there allotment in first couselling or looking for better one and there is no particular criteria all they do is the left over seats from 1st allotment in every college they again place in 2nd couselling so by way students can pick colleges based on cutoff rank and caste and you can directly attend 2nd couselling when notification comes

After the tsche announces the date of second round couns do the same thing as you did during first round.

in 2nd phase of the counseling too, u can submit allotment and joining report to the college before date, so that your seat will be reserved.

In second counseling,if any seat is alloted,then the seat alloted in 1st counseling is dismissed and the new seat alloted is final. If no seat is alloted even though seat alloted in 1st counseling is retained.
