Hii
In the state of J&K, all the seats of govt as well as private medical and dental colleges are filled based on NEET score but all the seats are filled only by the candidates having domicile of J&K (for this state domicile certificate is called state subject) So J&K does not keep 15% of its medical seats available for candidates of other state in All India Quota that is why the students from J&K are also not eligible for the 15% All India Seats of other states. Now a students who wishes to apply for this 15% AIQ quota and get a seat through AIQ councelling in state other J&K, then he/she is supposed to fill a self declaration at the time of the application process itself. This self declaration states that, you are by your wish opting for 15% AIQ quota being a domicile of J&K and so you will not opt for the seats in J&K and will go only for 15% AIQ seats of other states. Also if you do not want to give this self declaration and opt only for your 100% state quota, then also you can go for the private colleges and deemed universities for admission and even you can apply to AFMC Pune, subject to fulfillment of the eligiblity criterias for the same. Rest you must read the information bulletin carefully and also FAQs on th official website. Also keep yourself updated by visiting official website regularly and keeping a check on the careers360 news updates. Incase of any doubt, feel free to revert back Hope this helps Thanks!!
Dear Thinlas, Jammu & Kashmir, along with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have opted out of All India 15% Quota which means all the 100% seats are filled by State Quota. However you can apply for Private Medical Colleges of Other States. The rest of the eligibility criteria like Age limit, Highest qualification, minimum aggregate remain the same.
