Hi Agarwal!
The addmission in B.Com at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, is done based on your Board of Education and 12th Board Exam Cut Off. Your Cut Off decreases from CBSE to ISC to State Boards.
There will be 2 lists released with the required Cut Off. Only in rarest cases, it goes to the third list.
Since, you have not mentioned your Reservation Category, I have given the data for General Category.
Morning : First List
Evening : First List
The second List of both Morning and Evening decreases by 2 to 3%.
Hope this is helpful!
All the very best!
Hi student!
The cut off for Bcom hons is divided into three parts. One is for CBSE candidates(highest cut off), second is for ISC(medium cut off) and third is for State boards(comparatively lower cut off).
Selection in St Xavier's College Kolkata is done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination followed by interview and the cut off for morning is around 90–92 %.
the cutoff for evening batches are:
CBSE: 95%-96%
ISC: 92%-94%

Thank you!
St. Xavier's is one of the best colleges in India for persuing B.Com. The eligibility criteria or the admission process is based on 10+2 marks. Now it depends on from which board are you from. If your 10+2 is from WBCHSE the cutoff percentage is 83-85%. If you are from CBSE background it would be 96-98% and for ISC it would be 93-95%.
Hope it would be helpful.
