Greetings, Tanishq.
One cannot predict the marks required to be scored to get admission into AMU B.tech. So let me break it down like this:
AMU CSE Branch has 50 seats
To qualify for counselling process you will have to score 70+ marks as an external general category student. The rest is decided based on ranks. Ranks and marks can differ each year based on The number of candidates appearing, difficulty of paper, reservation seats, etc.
Since there are only 50 seats in the CSE branch, one can predict that you'd have to be in the top 100 ranks in the AMUEEE exam in order to be comfortably get admission into the CSE course at AMU.
I am attaching a link to a pdf from 2019 of AMU selected candidates for B.Tech and their ranks,

hope it helps,
Just work for top 50 or 70 ranks in the exam and you've got it.
Great day!
Dear student,
The cutoffs percentage for computer science in AMU is 50 percentile. So according to the previous year cutoff you should atleast score 75 to 80 marks. However the admission to a particular course depends on the merit list prepared and for getting computer science branch you should have more than 120 marks because you belong to the external category and that too general caste.
Hope it helps!
Good Luck.
Hello,
The cut off varies each year and it depends on several factors such as total number of students who took the exam, number of candidates who qualified , difficult level and the number of seats available. The university usually releases the cut off after the declaration of result through online mode . For the year 2019 the cut off was in the range 75-80 for general category candidates. AMUEE 2020 has been announced to be conducted on December 1. For more info regarding AMUEE 2020 VISIT: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/amueee
Hope this helps you.
