what is the cut off percentage for science and commerce

Hi

It depends from college to college. Usually cutoff for science will be higher than commerce.

Most of the colleges in India keep 55 % to 60 % as a minimum percentage to be eligible for science stream.

For commerce course the average minimum percentage is usually 40 to 45 %.

But those nos are just average and they depend from college to college.

In general if the candidates wants to get admission in good science college he needs to score a atleast 85 % in 10 std.

For average college the range could be between 70 to 75 %.

For commerce stream it is easy to get.
