what is the cut off required for the addmission
Hello,
The cut off marks for different categories is different in the NEET. The cut off percentile is calculated to decide the final cut off marks.
For calculating the percentile, the marks of the other candidates and that of the candidate who has scored the highest in the exam is considered. A percentile score is the relative performance of the candidate against all the other candidates who have appeared for the examination.
For General Category students, a minimum 50th percentile is required to get admission. A score more than 600 will have a higher scope of admission under All India Quota and a score of 550+ will be easy for admission through state Quota.
For reserved category students, 40th percentile is required for admission. A score of 450 and above will be required for state quota admission whereas a score of 500+ will have higher chances through All India Quota process.
Good luck.
