What is the cutoff of MBA in finance at bits pilani for CAT

Sir my cat percentile is 51%. I have 91.2% in 10th, 84.4% in 12th and 79.7% in graduation. Do I have any chance of getting a call from BITS? Please answer as soon as possible.

The minimum percentile required for admissions and counseling is 65 perentile in CAT.

The eligibility criteria is stringent as follows:--

Employed professionals working in finance and allied business domains, holding a three year undergraduate degree in relevant disciplines with adequate preparation in mathematics, and minimum two years of work experience in relevant domain.


The selection process is as follows:--


Group Discussion
Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion based on score obtained in CAT/ GMAT, previous academic record and work experience


Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates are called for Personal Interview based on performance in Group Discussion


Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on score obtained in CAT/ GMAT, past academic record, work experience and performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

There is no specific cut off for getting admission in BITS Pilani to do MBA. Seeing the last year trends if you score around 80 percentile in CAT then you have a good chance of getting a call from BITS Pilani. But remember this is not the only criteria for getting a call from college, you also need to have a strong profile with your good academic records along with a work experience. In graduation (B.E./B.Tech) you need to have atleast 60% so as to eligible for further process.




For getting an admission you need to apply online then seeing your profile along with CAT/GMAT score a merit list is made for all.the candidates applying and then top students are called for GD and interview round. After this round a final merit list is made to select students for admission.




Especially for finance the eligibility criteria is to be employed professionals working in finance and allied business domains with 2 years work experience.
