What is the cutoff percentile for SC students to get admission in IIMs?
First of all you do have an advantage for having an SC Certificate..But not only that your 10th, 12th and your Graduation marks will also be looked at. It goes down to 80 in case of SC , But it also depends on from which IIM you are getting a call..So i would suggest you please work hard and try not to depend on having an SC certificate.

After you give the CAT exam every IIM makes a merit list to call students for next round of interview and WSAT which is based on your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages for different IIMs. After the second round again a new merit list is made whose aggregate score also includes interview and WSAT marks which generally have highest weightage along with CAT marks.
Now based on previous years data to get a call from top 3 IIMs i.e. IIM A, B and C you need to score above 92+ percentile. Aim for 95+ percentile to increase your probability of conversion.
For other old IIMs you need to score 85+ percentile to get a call and aim for 90+ percentile for better conversion probability.
To get calls from all new IIMs you need to score atleast above 80 percentile.
These all cut offs are just a rough indication, as I told earlier your profile also matters a lot whether you get a call from IIMs or not.
All the best for your preparations and exams!!
