what is the cutt off of du in political science hon ba
Hello,
The admission to UG courses is based on merit in the qualifying exam. The cut off marks varies every year.According to the admissions in the previous year the cut off for BA hons Political Science was 98% for general category, 96% for OBC, 94.5% for SC category, 95.25% for ST candidates and 90% for PWD candidates.
For some colleges of DU like St. Stephen's College and Hindu College, it goes as high as 99 percentage . But if you want to B.A. Honours in Political Science in good colleges of DU like in North Campus , then you have to get a minimum of 95 percentage so as to get admission in North Campus Colleges.
The cutoff depends on the college and category very much. For north campus colleges such as Hindu College, Ramjas College, Hansraj College under general category it is 96+ percentage.
For South campus colleges it is usually 90+ percentage.
And for off campus colleges it is 80+ percentage in best 4 subjects.
If you belong to any other category than the citoff would be lower.
