What is the definition of unfit during mbbs course in AFMC. How can they remove from course after admisson on medical ground?
To be declared fit for admission, the candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duty in armed forces.
Here are some few important physical requirements are being indicated for guidance of the candidates -
1. They should be free from serious deformity and mal-developments. There should be no scoliosis, spina bifida and other skeletal deformities, apparent or on clinical examination.
2. there should be no impediment of speech
3. there should be no functional/ organic disease of the of the heart and blood vessels.
4. there should be no signs of any pulmonary disorder.
5. there should be no sign of digestive disease.
6. no evidence of pile and fistula.
7. there should be no signs of STDs
8. there is no history of epilepsy
9. there should be no morbid conditions
10. there are no enlarged glands.
The medical board can cancel your admission if you find unfit in medical examination during the time of admission.
