Hello,

In Vocational Training, students are required to meet the minimum age requirement of 16 years to get admitted to the vocational course. For post secondary courses, a high school diploma or a GED is expected of the aspirant to get enrolled.

Vocational courses are an educational discipline that enables individual to acquire skills that are required for a particular trade.

Students after 10th standard can now opt for short and long term courses like diplomas and degrees.

  • Vocational courses are offered in various fields including health care, creative fields like graphic and web designing, food technology etc
  • Vocational courses are also provided in skilled trades like automotive repair, plumbing, heating and air conditioning.

And for admission every Institute or say college has its own procedure. Some offer admission on the basis of merit while some through common entrance test.

Hope this helps!!!!
