- Plants have chlorophyll but animals don't have chlorophyll
- Plants can make their own food by the process of photosynthesis but animals cannot perform photosynthesis
- plants cannot move from one place to another place ,that is they don't exhibit locomotion whereas animals perform locomotion
- plants are mostly autotrophic in nature whereas animals are heterotrophic in nature
- Plants takes in carbon dioxide and releases oxygen whereas animals takes in oxygen and releases carbon dioxide.
