what is the difference between b tech and b Tech+ m tech ( 5 year integrated) course at VIT Vellore in computer science and engineering agains course value; placement . and any other information between different
Dear Aspirant,
Btech is a four year course and b.tech integrated course is a 5 year btech + mtech course, which otherwise if done separately will cost you 6 years. Now if you are asking for placement point of view, the btech is a good course as most of the tech giants do not consider mtech students for placements. However, since the integrated course is one year short it is at some advantage but if you have choice in VIT, then go for Btech.
For masters, you could then decide later in your career. Hope this helps.
Thank you
Hello Subhash
Being a VIT graduate i can answer this question. See, to get enrolled in 5 years course you will have to appear for VITEEE, an entrance for Undergrad but to do Mtech in VIT you will have to appear for VITMEE.
In placements you will be lined up wit the mtech as well as btech grads so at that time ball will be in your court.
