What is the difference between BA and BA(Hons)?
Hello,
Both B.A and B.A(Hons) are undergraduate courses but the sole difference is this that in Hons you are specializing in one particular subject, so you’ll have more papers of that subject and the syllabus for the B.A(Hons) courses are difficult as compared to the B.A course. The difference between BA and BA(Hons) is that a B.A student doesn’t specialize in any one particular subject of his/her choice.
BA and BA Hons both are 3 year full time undergraduate course. The basic difference between BA and BA Hons is that in BA Hons , you can specialize in any one subject whereas there is no such option in BA course. BA Hons is a bit tough than BA. The curriculum for both the course is quite different, in BA you will most probably study 5 main subjects like History, Geography , Economics etc. But in BA Hons you have to choose one particular subject as your specialization + your main subjects.
I hope this helps!!!
Dear Aspirant,
the courses of both BA and BA(Hons) are under graduate courses. But the main difference between the two courses is that in BA(Hons) the students specialize in one particular subject and there will more papers on that particular subject. There is also a difference in the syllabus of BA and BA(Hons).
