Both of them are undergraduate course but the difference lies in the fact that in BA(hons) there's specialization of one particular subject, while this doesn't doesn't happen in the case of BA programme. The Hons subject provides a student with wide domain of knowledge in that particular field.

B.A. hons is basically focused on a particular subject that you want as a core subject and is considered very good among others for example B.A. Hons in English means that you will study English through out the 3 years of your graduation and the study would be in-depth whereas B.A. programme is the course in which many subjects are combined even though some university's provide you to take a core for all the three years but the overall rating says that B.A. Hons is considered better than B.A. Programme.

Bachelor of Arts (honours) is a three years undergraduate programme which enhances your ability to acquire advanced skills of analysis, to apply innovative solutions to complex problems and to develop original ideas. This course is basically designed to develop knowledge and skills required for a research in a specific arts area and necessary for an advanced professional career. This degree includes specialisation in some subjects and is basically based on a combination of coursework and a research project in the chosen field of study.

This course is an academically demanding whose main objective is to produce graduates who will be able to weigh up evidence and arguments and make rational choices, be able to work cooperatively in a team.

BA program is Bachelor of Arts and program stands for collectively study of all subjects. It is a bachelor degree course which helps in getting government jobs related to it. Further placement cells come in colleges which gives placement to talented and intellect students.

Hey Tanisha,there is no difference between BA honours and BA programme.They both represents the same course.It's just the way people coin those terms differently.For example,college is most likely to use the term "Programme" more often while we students term it as "degree" or "honors".
