Greetings, aspirant!

Both of these courses are pretty much equal in every aspect other than duration. The 5 year long LLB degree is for 10+2 passouts and is an Integrated course to grant students graduation as well as their LLB degree. On the other hand, The 3 year course is for graduates who wish to make a career in law.

The major factor in choosing which degree to opt for is how sure you are about making a career in law. If you're a 100% sure, you can opt for BA-LLB that is 5 years long. However, if you're not sure and wish to explore your options more, you can opt for the 3 year LLB course after your graduation.

Regardless of the course you opt for, the actual value to your degree comes from the Institution you get your degree from and your own dedication.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck!!
