B.Sc. Agriculture is a 4-year professional undergraduate degree for 10+2 science students. it involves the study of agriculture sciences and the use of modern scientific equipment and techniques in agriculture, land surveying, soil science, water resource management, animal, and poultry management, basics of biotechnology, etc. Admission to this course is mostly entrance exam based eg. KEAM , EAMCET.
B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate course, which deals with the study of agricultural process and technological practices in food processing and efficient production of food. The mode of admission is through State/ National/ University Joint Entrance Examination.

The BSc in Agriculture is a 3 year undergraduate course while BTech I'm agricultural engineering is a 4 year engineering course. Technically speaking, BSc is more about theory and learning about principles of agriculture. Whereas, BTech is more about practical and engineering aspects of agriculture. Career wise, both these options have a wide range of jobs. But, BTech in agricultural engineering have higher scope for job then BSc in Agriculture.
