Hello,

The main difference between BSc(Hons) and BSc(General) lies in the fact that the former one is directed more towards a specialized course in the sense if you choose to do Hons in any particular subject say Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology or alike, you learn more in-depth study, on the other hand in the case of latter it focuses on foundation of all science subjects with no such as specialization, if you have special interest towards learning about any specific field in more detailed manner then you should pursue BSc(Hons), in future you can go for post graduation and even higher  studies, this field is great for academics, research, and teaching profession, generally hons is more preferable as well as beneficial academically as well as professionally than the general degree.
