hey there,

Cast certificate and minority certificate both are different.

Minority Certificate is an important document for people who belong to minority communities. It is used to apply for pension service and school admission with fees concession.Minority certificate is issued to 6 minority communities i.e . Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Parsi, Christian, Buddhist, Jain and is issued by Ministry of Minority Affairs.

A caste certificate is an official document stating that an individual belongs to a particular caste in society. caste certifications are awarded to individuals that belong to the Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes that are documented in the Indian Constitution.

The seats which are less in number and being reserved for limited students only know as a minority. Also, under AIQ - All India Quota there is only ST, SC minority, state and college wise it cannot be the same as it varies accordingly. There is also a special reservation with a religious minority in India.
