What is the difference between CLAT and MHT-CET Law ?
The CLAT exam is conducted for admissions to 24 participating National Law Universities, while the MH CET Law exam is conducted for admissions to law colleges in the state of Maharashtra. The CLAT exam offers admission to 5-year LLB and LLM courses in the NLUs, while MH CET provides admissions to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses in the state of Maharashtra. MH CET LAW- In 2016, the Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education launched a uniform entrance test for candidates seeking admission to the state government's law institutions. Directorate of Technical Education administers administers the online exam to select candidates for the five year integrated Law Program following class 12th and the three year law program following graduation.
CLAT- CLAT is a National level admission test organised by 21 NLUs on the basis of rotation. It is held for admission to Law Courses at 21 NLUs as well as numerous private universities and colleges. The test grants admission to 3 and 5 year integrated LLM and LLB courses on the basis of CLAT scores.
