What is the difference between CSE and ECM
Hi,
ECM is Electronics and Computer Engineering while CSE is Computer Science and Engineering.
Electronics and Communication Engineering basically a branch of Electronics Engineering that deals over the effects of the electrons to build the components, devices, systems or the equipment.
Computer Science and Engineering generally deals with all aspects of Computers. It deals with computer programming, designing, networking, etc. along with dealing with computer hardware.
CSE is branch in trend and ECM is branch is with futuristic approach that electronics and computers are inter related and the subjects should be studied in correlation like IoT , involves both hardware and software and ECM is appropriate branch to generate a complete package to work on such platforms
CSE is Computer Science Engineering this focuses more on software related study while ECM is Electronics and Computer Engineering provides the technical knowledge as well. Both the branches are very good to study and have good scope.
Dear Radhakushan,
If you love Math and applied math in real life applications, CSE is the way to go. Have a fancy for robotics and embedded systems. Go for ECM. Either ways, both of them will have a similar course curriculum, with maybe a few exceptions. CSE will cover Electrical, electronic and CS at the same stage, whereas ECM will also cover the same with an emphasis for electronics based courses.
Either ways, both the courses are closely relevant to each other, so it shouldn’t make much difference as to which course you choose. You can use the department and faculty members as a criterion for making your choices.
now choice is your.it totally depends on you.
hope you got your answer.
Good luck :)
