the difference between CSIR NET and UGC NET is as follows:
- The exam administration body for both exams is different. Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts CSIR NET while National Testing agency (NTA) conducts UGC NET.
- There is difference is age limit UGC NET upper limit is 30 years. However, CSIR NET only is 28 years.
- CSIR NET is specially designed for only those students who belong to Science Stream whereas UGC NET is for all other types of courses in India.
