What is the difference between Deemed universities and Private medical Colleges?

Below is the difference between deemed and private universities-

1- It is important that the private universities will have to follow a number of norms that need not be followed by deemed universities. This means that deemed universities enjoy more flexibility as compared to private universities.

2- Deemed universities are those that are functioning with the approval of University Grants Commission as Deemed to be universities. These universities can be compared to colleges in the name of university and they will have only a single or two institutions under them.


AIQ & Deemed University have same counselling form which has started today & for private colleges, counselling will be headed by the authority of that state.
